Beecher Fire Protection District Meeting | Nov. 2025
The Beecher Fire Protection District Board of Trustees met on Thursday, November 20, 2025, to handle annual financial ordinances and review departmental reports. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Board President.
In addition to approving the 2025 tax levy and authorizing roof repairs, the board handled several administrative contracts and policy updates.
Audit Services Contract:
The board voted unanimously to approve a contract with Mack and Associates for auditing services. The motion was made by Trustee Lyle Siefker and seconded by Trustee Dave Kolosh.
Workers’ Compensation Renewal:
Trustees approved the renewal of the district’s Workers’ Compensation coverage through the Illinois Public Risk Fund (IPRF). The renewal period covers January 1, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
Policy Amendment:
The board unanimously approved an amendment to the district’s 100 Series Policy, specifically policy #100.3.29. The motion was introduced by Trustee Kolosh and seconded by Trustee Becker.
Closed Session:
The board entered a closed session at 7:49 p.m. to conduct a performance review of the fire chief and review the fire chief’s contract. The regular meeting reopened at 8:59 p.m., at which point no further action was taken. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
