During their regular meeting on Thursday, June 26, the district’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved the promotions of Carm Welsh, Marci DuBois, and Bryce Budimir to the rank of Lieutenant/Paramedic.

The appointments followed a standard two-step process in which the board first had to formally approve the final eligibility list for the position. A motion to approve the register, made by Trustee Mike Waterman and seconded by Trustee Bruce Becker, passed with a unanimous 5-0 roll call vote.

With the eligibility list certified, the board proceeded to vote on each candidate’s appointment individually.
The first motion, to appoint Carm Welsh to Lieutenant/Paramedic, was made by Trustee Waterman and seconded by Trustee Lyle Siefker. The second motion, made by Trustee Waterman and seconded by Trustee Dave Kolosh, was to appoint Marci DuBois. The final motion, to appoint Bryce Budimir, was made by Trustee Kolosh and seconded by Trustee Waterman.
