CWB Chicago reports that a pickup truck rammed through the Louis Vuitton store on Michigan Avenue early Thursday.
One of several getaway cars crashed into another vehicle, killing the driver.
Police arrested seven of the alleged offenders.
Resolution honors Charlie Kirk
Illinois U.S. Reps. Mike Bost, Darin LaHood and Mary Miller have introduced a congressional resolution condemning the assassination and honoring the life and legacy of Illinois native Charlie Kirk.
The Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot Wednesday at Utah Valley University.
Kirk was born in Arlington Heights and attended Wheeling High School.
Burn bans issued
Several communities across Illinois have issued burn bans as drought and abnormally dry conditions expand.
