Brush Collection Ordinance Approved
The board formally approved Ordinance #1439, which amends the village’s brush collection schedule. Washington Township Insurance Request Denied
Following an inquiry from Washington Township, the Village Board reached a consensus not to amend an intergovernmental agreement to allow the township’s elected trustees to join the village’s health insurance plan. Administrator Charity Mitchell noted the original agreement only covered full-time highway department employees, and while the township officials offered to pay for their own coverage, the board expressed no interest in extending the benefit.

4th of July Commission Reports Successful Year
The Beecher 4th of July Commission reported a successful 2025 celebration, generating over $30,000 in profit. Trustee Todd Kraus delivered the update, thanking the commissioners and volunteers for their work. The commission is actively seeking new members to help plan future events. E-Bike Regulations to be Discussed
The village will consider adding e-bikes to its ordinance regulating low-speed scooters at a future meeting.
