The Beecher Fire Protection District Board of Trustees on Thursday, November 20, 2025, moved forward with its financial planning for the coming year, approving the annual tax levy and modernizing administrative capabilities.

During the meeting at the fire station on Penfield Street, the board voted unanimously to approve Ordinance 1120-25B, the 2025 Tax Levy. In a related financial measure, the trustees also passed Ordinance 1120-25C, which handles the 2025 Tax Abatement.

The board also addressed physical maintenance of the district’s facilities. Representatives from R.C. Wegman gave a presentation regarding issues with the fire station roof.
