BEECHER — The Beecher Fire Protection District Board of Trustees moved forward with several personnel and benefit-related measures during their December 18, 2025, meeting.
Following a closed session that lasted approximately one hour, the board reconvened to approve an employment package for the district’s Administrative Assistant. The motion was made by Trustee Michael Waterman and seconded by Trustee Bruce Becker.
Additionally, the board addressed year-end benefits for sworn personnel. Trustees unanimously approved a one-time payout or rollover option for unused vacation days for full-time sworn employees. A separate motion to approve “new active member pension contribution payment[s]” was also passed unanimously.
In other business, the board voted to support the Beecher Education Foundation by donating a “BFPD blanket, breakfast and a ride to school” as a fundraising item.
