Village of Beecher Meeting | April 27, 2026

Article Summary: The Village of Beecher is seeing a steady increase in video gaming revenue following the addition of new local gaming establishments.

Video Gaming Revenue Key Points:

  • Average monthly video gaming revenue climbed to $10,300 in the first quarter of 2026.

  • Revenues averaged approximately $7,900 per month in 2024 and nearly $9,000 per month in 2025.

  • Lacy’s remains the top revenue generator in the Village, while the newly opened Elsie’s has secured the number two spot.

Video gaming is providing a growing stream of revenue for the Village of Beecher, according to a recent data analysis shared during the Village Board meeting on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The Village Clerk provided the Board with a localized research report tracking monthly gaming revenues from 2024 through the first quarter of 2026. The data revealed a clear upward trajectory, disproving the common assumption that adding new gaming locations merely redistributes existing local spending.

In 2024, the Village averaged about $7,900 a month in gaming revenue. By 2025, following the opening of the new Gold Vault location in February and Elsie’s in December, the monthly average climbed to nearly $9,000.

The growth has accelerated further in the current calendar year. For the first three months of 2026, the Village averaged $10,300 per month. The Clerk noted that February’s official tally of $9,498 included a $2,930 “prior period adjustment” deduction by the Illinois Gaming Board. The adjustment was unspecified, but even with the deduction, the overall revenue trend remains strong.

When breaking down the numbers by establishment, the Clerk highlighted that Lacy’s has consistently maintained the highest gaming revenue in the Village over the last few years. Meanwhile, Elsie’s has firmly established itself in the number two spot every month since it opened its doors.
