Trustee Brian Diachenko, who chairs the Public Buildings and Properties Committee, made the motion to award the work to Jabaay’s as the lowest responsible bidder. Diachenko said the village received five bids for the project and that copies of all of them were included in the board’s packet for review. Trustee Roger Stacey seconded the motion.
The board approved the award without debate. All six trustees present — Joe Tieri, Jessica Smith, Todd Kraus, Diachenko, Stacey and Erik Gardner — voted in favor. President Marcy Meyer presided.
The windows are located at the Beecher Village Hall, 625 Dixie Highway, which also houses the village’s administrative offices and serves as the meeting site for the President and Board of Trustees.
